OUR GOAL

This Wiki has been created as a shared knowledge resource for Toon Boom Studio users everywhere. It is a companion site to the Cartooning In Toon Boom blog. Our goal, over time, is to populate this wiki with a complete glossary of terminology and techniques pertaining to cartoon making, animation, and the usage of Toon Boom Studio. A wiki is a community built on responsible contributions and collaboration and in that spirit we invite readers of this wiki to add to this knowledge base. You as a participant in the wiki can assume many roles. You are first a reader but you also can be an editor or an author. Before you move from being just a reader, please visit the Author-Editor Guidelines page to better understand how to perform those responsibilities.

CHECK OUT OUR NEW FORUM STYLE DISCUSSION THREADS

If you have questions about how to use Toon Boom Studio software or about cartoon making and animation in general, we now have Discussion Forum Threads included as part of the Wiki that can be used for discussing and answering those questions. (please read the important exceptions statement below)

DISCUSSION FORUM THREADS EXCEPTIONS GUIDE

Please note that if you have specific "bug" reporting or comments about Toon Boom software, or you just want to express any kind of concern or opinion about the quality of the software or you want to get a constructive critique of your personal cartoon work, please don't use the Discussion Forum Threads on this Cartooning in Toon Boom Wiki. Those types of discussions are better addressed on the Toon Boom Studio Forums so please use the TBS Forums for all your software complaints, opinions, personal agendas, or self promotions etc.
